After many months of not using Yoosing, I thought I'd give it another go tonight.

I recorded a song, and it saved..no issues at all!! YAY!!

So I went to do another..recorded it all..listened back, pressed 'save'..and the page came up 'your song has been created'...whoo hoo!! BUT!

It came up as the same song I had done previously..now on my profile, it says I have done that song three times..even though I sang it only once, and did a completely different song for my second.

I've had that happen a couple of times before - never have worked out what I might have done wrong to create the issue.

I just had to delete the songs and do them again.

Right!!!! I just went into listen again..and whereas before I just started the introduction and ASSUMED it had re recorded my first song..I saw this comment:

You've recorded the wrong vocals over the wrong backing track. Best u use the 'review' button, or check ur recordings after u save, just to make sure!!

So I played beyond the intro...it has the backing of If I Were A Boy..and the vocals of I Who Have Nothing.

When I previewed..it was I Who Have Nothing. backing AND vocals!!! Just not when I saved!!

Whoever Pauly is, he must think I'm a right dork!!

Mandy,

i have no idea why you have so many problems with the site. I could understand it if everyone had the same problems, but they don't. It drives me insane. We are in the process of re-writing the whole site from the ground up, including the player/recorder, which initial tests show works really well.

Just in case your interested the site seems to work better with firefox than Internet explorer and some have reported that they have overcome all problems by using Google's new Chrome browser.

I'm fed up trying to fix this one, so we're scrapping it when the new one is complete.

I'll keep everyone informed on the progress.

I've got Firefox Rob, when I get the chance I'll have another go.

When the new site is up, will the video recordings be less jumpy...and will there be a key changer? Wink

Great some activity on yoosing forum.

Good to hear the site and the player/recorder is being re-vamped.

Haven't used yoosing for a while now because of the sinc problems.
